in July of 2009 Ford Australia announced it was investing $230 million dollars to improve fuel efficiency and enviromental impact in its Australian produced vehicles. This was part of global plan which will see Ford as the leader in more efficient and cleaner motoring.

Our Ecoboost display explains how this exciting new technology works and will benifit the environment.
The centre of Ford Australia’s plan was is to introduce an Ecoboost engine into its Falcon line up. This highly advanced 2.0 litre 4 cylinder engine will be the first global application in a rear wheel drive vehicle and will offer six cylinder performance using less fuel and emitting less emissions.
Such an announcement is important to the future of Ford and our environment. To explain this exciting advanced new techology the Ford Discovery Centre has an amazing interactive display which makes it easy to understand the benifits and workings of Ecoboost.
