In 2008 in conjunction with Deakin University, Gordon Institute and LLEN (Local Learning and Employment Network) the Ford Discovery Centre hosted local students from year 7 to 9 highlighting opportunities in manufacturing and technology industries.
In the two years since it’s beginning we have seen over 1,000 students over the three day event and seen over varying industries displayed within the museum assisting with hands on interactive displays highlighting exciting opportunities within what is an important industry now and into the future.
We would like to thank the participation and commitment of many supporting business hosted at the Ford Discovery Centre and the partnerships with local teaching institutions. We look forward to continued growth and development of this showcase.
